I am needing to get my card samples made for my September Starry Starry Night card class and I finally got the first one made last weekend! I usually do lots of research on Pinterest as I try to find something that works with the stamp sets, dies, and vague ideas to get my thought process flowing. I used some products from FSJ's Hello Summer collection.
It took a bit for this to come together. But I am happy with it and I think my class will be, too. I used
Space Cadet stamp set,
Space Glow embellishments,
Space Galaxy background stamp, and
Starry Night Sequins. For some reason I can't get these to link below with pictures. The rest of the products I used are linked below.
I stamped the space ship on Brushed Silver paper. It took a couple of stampings (thank goodness for my stamp positioner) and required heat setting. I "debossed" the moon to make craters then sponged ink around the edge and a little on the moon. The shiny "planet" behind the space ship is from the sequins.
I heat embossed the sentiment and added the cool UFO and sequins.
Wouldn't this be great for a young guy's birthday or even a Trekkie or Star Wars enthusiast?
