Fall Thanks

Last Saturday I was glued to my computer as I watched Fun Stampers Journey and Spellbinders launch their Holiday collection.  I had purchased all 3 Project Kits way back when and last Saturday after the launch was over I worked on a few projects for this week and even finished the Give Thanks card from one of the kits.  The colors definitely are not fall but they are fab!

Now, who would have thought of blue and light green for a fall card??  But it definitely works!  And the new Fall Thanks AT stamp and coordinating die set are fun to play with! (The rest of the products are listed below.)  Can you tell the words are stamped in 3 colors???

You can almost see all 3 colors here.  I stamped (using my positioner) the image in Cool Pool twice, cleaned my stamp, reinked the bottom of the stamp with Lemongrass ink and stamped, cleaned my stamp, the reinked the top of the stamp with Fresh Sage and stamped.  This is really cool! I also stamped the acorn, stemps, and leaves and did some coloring with my Color Burst pencils.  But what about the blue leaves...

They are die cuts using the large leaf from the Journey Blooms Holiday die set. After embossing them, I swiped the Cool Pool ink over them.  I made a triple bow and adhered it.  If you've never made a double or triple bow FSJ has a great YouTube video.

I did add some Journey Glaze to the words as I got a bit of glue on it from all the pieces I was gluing.  It helped hide the mess.
