Last Wednesday I made a Live video on my FB page, Stampin Carol - Lots of
Crafty Goodness, of a Balcony Fold card. Today I'll show you the actual card
I made as last week I shared my cool sample Christmas card with a picture by
picture tutorial.

You probably recognize those adorable "chicks" as I've made a couple cards
previously using them. I think they are a hoot! I used an old Cuttlebug
embossing folder from my stash called Chicken Wire as it made a perfect
background for these cuties. And I had to use Spellbinders' Garden Fence die
set on the base. Doesn't this kinda look like a farm yard? The sentiment at
the top was 1 stamp but I cut it apart to do what I wanted. I cut the
Happy Birthday stamp apart (from Spellbinders 2021 May Clear Stamp of the
Month), also, to position the words the way I needed. If you need to
cut stamps apart make sure you have enough room between words so that you
don't cut into letters. This can be tricky.
Here's a little closer look at the layers. I used a variety of Momento Dew
Drop ink pads to stamp my chickens. And my Misti was a great help.
I added tabs to the back of the 2 top chickens so that I could adhere them
to the inside panel.
Head over to my YouTube channel and watch my video dated June 30, 2021 and
learn how to make this fun style card. And if you do a search on Pinterest
you'll find a few other ways of decorating your Balcony card!
