Lookin Shark

When I seen some fun shark cards posted by The Paper Collage using Whimsy Stamps I just had to contact Pamela and order them! Oh my gosh but are they cool!

I had to message her about wanting the 2 stamps sets and 2 coordinating die sets and she responded pretty quick! Within a couple hours my order was complete and paid for! She doesn't have these available on her website but only on her shelves. No problem! And these are perfect for Shark Week!

The stamps and dies are called Lookin' Shark and Lookin' Shark Elements. I made a rather simple card but if you head over to Whimsy Stamps website there are a bunch of cute cards! I saved a bunch of them to my Pinterest board Cards - Children. Great inspiration! I stamped the shark eyes on a piece of white card stock, fussy cut them and adhered in place. I used my white gel pen on the teeth.

I used an old Fun Stampers Journey embossing folder called Yummy Dots for the background. I thought the dots kinda looked like bubbles.  I think the vast majority of my old FSJ folders are no longer available. Bummer, there are some great ones! Anyway.

The little fish was stamped on a piece of paper I decorated long ago using the shaving creme technique. I though it made for a cute fish. And the sequins are also an old FSJ product called Splash Zone Sequins. Lots of glue dots of various sized were used to adhere them! And I added Spellbinders Glue N Glaze to my bottle.

I have a couple great grandsons who would love this card. Maybe I'll mail it to them today....
