As I was contemplating another card using Spellbinders new Bottle Brush Tree die set I had an ah ha moment! I love 3D projects and this is definitely 3D!

I don't think this die set was thought of this way and I haven't seen any projects of it being used this way so maybe I'm a first???
As I was sitting at my work desk I realized that the tree bases were perfect for this! The back side of the trees are the same as the fronts. I painted the dowel bases (I've had these for ages!) with white paint. I glued a tooth brush between the layers of tree bases and cut off the excess ends before I glued the trees in the dowel bases. I love these!
This is one of the small trees. I kinda wish the little stars were a bit bigger. I may have a star die in another die set but I haven't looked yet. I used mirror gold paper for the stars and ornaments.
This is one of the large trees. I used a solid card stock for all the bases and an old Fun Stampers Journey Christmas 6x6 paper pack for the bottle brush part!
I will say that I used a minimum of products to make these!
Aren't these adorable! These are great for decorating in small villages.
How would you use them?
Stampin Carol
Where can I flee from Your presence? If I take the winds of the morning,
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead
me. Psalm 139:7,9
