Celebrate Liberty

I believe we live in the greatest country in the world and I love Independence Day.  This card celebrates 2 famous icons of our nation, Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty.

I used 2 die sets from Spellbinders, Sunday Drive and Liberty Sunday Drive.  There's lots of details and it took me a bit with LOTS of gluing!


Here you can see some of the detail on the dies! And that sun ray background was made using Spellbinders Sunny Day Stencil. And with all those itty bitty pieces my QuickStik got a lot of use as did my Bearly Art Glue and Best Ever Craft Tape!


I used this fun celebrate from their Celebration Script stamp set. I also used my Stardust Clear gel pen to give it some pop.  A few silver sequins to kinda represent fireworks completed my card.

We're planning a pot luck at church Sunday to celebrate this special day. It's wonderful fun to meet with church family and visit!  What are your plans?
