It's a Merry...

Yesterday you seen the pine boughs I made using 3 of Spellbinders new Tis the Season collection. I'm using 2 of the same products today but in an entirely different way.

When I seen Spellbinders new Christmas Blooms die set this is what immediately popped into my head. I have to admit that this did take some time as I spent a couple hours die cutting all those itty bitty pieces! Yet you really cannot get the full effect of this wreath just from a picture! There is so much texture and detail! I hope you can get some idea from these close ups.

I used my Stardust Clear Gel pen on the Merry (Create a Christmas die set) for more sparkle. And my Bearly Art glue got extensive use!

How do you like the details in the flowers! This is a 5 1/2" square card so I'll be making an envelope for it. I added Gold Mix Color Essentials Gems to the centers of the poinsettias. They really pop! And a few red sparkly gems gives this card a LOT of pop!

The print paper is from my stash and I searched though a lot of my papers to find one I thought went well with my wreath. I actually made it before I started on the card base!

I have 2 more cards! But I used the new Bottle Brush Trees die set from the Tis the Season Collection. Stay tuned!
