With Sympathy

This past Saturday I was supposed to attend a memorial for a friend from church. Sadly, his memorial was postponed due to one of his family members being diagnosed with the virus. I had made a couple cards and will save them for future use.  It's so hard to make these.

I printed out a picture I took last summer of a full moon with a pink glow. I took the picture with my phone as it does a pretty good job, better than my point & shoot camera.

I used vellum with embossed sentiments to make the photos less dark.  I tried to match the pink around the moon for a layer.  Well, it's kinda close.  And I used eyelets and brads from my stash to attach the vellum. I used a Fun Stampers Journey stamp set for the left card and a Scrapbook.com stamp set (and it also comes in a bundle of 3 sets) for the right card.

Dan loved the Lord and was a follower so I know I'll see him again.

Do you have trouble making sympathy cards?

Stampin Carol
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.   1 Corinthians 15:58
