Happy New Year!
Tuesday I was searching for an idea to make on my Wednesday morning FB
video and came across a Tricorn card on Pinterest. Well... I've been seeing
this style fun fold card and thought it might work but after making one I
decided not at this time. It wasn't hard but time consuming and I needed
more time to prep as I'd have to make 2 or 3 so I'd have all the steps
shown. Maybe next week. But I did get a card made for a fun fold swap.

The print papers and stamp set are all retired. Since I didn't know what I was doing I used old products in case the card got tossed. It turned out pretty good! My folds and scores almost perfectly matched! The cute little robot is part of Fun Stampers Journey's old Bot Love red rubber stamp set and I used its coordinating die set. The print paper is FSJ's old Sweet Spring 6x6 prints.
This card does fold flat to 6" x 2 1/4". And it is rather thick when folded. It's made from a 6" x 8" piece of paper.
When I started making this card I couldn't see how it was going to work but after I started making the diagonal scores I got it! This is the back view but I don't think it helps any.
My little robot is cute! I stamped him 3 times, once on a pale grey, then
once on the red and once on a white for the hearts. I splattered the white
rectangles with Bubble Gum Silk and edged them with red ink so they'd pop a
bit more.
In making this card I realized I have NO current Valentine image stamps!
Only dies! That's not good. I'll be digging through my old stash
looking for some to use for our grand and great grandsons!
