Is It Wednesday Already?

Yes, it is! Wednesday! But this past week actually didn't rush by that much. We didn't stay up for New Year's Eve and just stayed home other than church. Our church is open with restrictions.  Anyway, today is the day I share my desk with you. And I'm linking up with Julia of the Stamping Ground and many other brave souls willing to share their desks and maybe projects! This is week 605.

I have scraps of paper on my desk prepping for this morning's video.  I'm making a Tricorn fold card. I try to have many steps done in advance so I won't take too long. No sense coloring and cutting on video if I can have most of this done. Anyway. Far left is my Fiskars trimmer and a pack of paper under it.  Center top left of my glass mat is 2 card bases for the video. Center mat are the layers for the card. And that's pretty much it. I have cleaned my desk far far left out of the picture and have a project that has been sitting there WAY too long.

Right before I started the above project I was working on card kits for my Jan. 22 class. I have oodles of die cutting to do.  I guess I'm liked as 2 of my customers bought me Starbucks and Dunkin' Donut gift cards!  I was so surprised!

Anyway, I hope you leave me a little comment then head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the other desks!

Sounds like you have another supper bust week! I bought a glass mat but not sure about it yet. To be honest I don't seem to use it much - I think I just need to remember it's there...LOL!

Happy WOYWW 2021!

You are liked Carol, for sure. I think the gift cards are a lovely gesture from your customers, it says a lot about your classes, believe me. I’m surprised that you have an unfinished project on your desk. When you say for way too long, I wonder how long you mean. Knowing you it’s probably been about a week. For me, ‘way too long’ is years!! Is also applaud your attitude to the YT video - it makes me impatient when i tune in to lewrn something soecific and have to sit through colouring in or die cutting of embellishment pieces.

How nice to get the gift cards, Carol. I don't know what a tricorn fold card is but it sounds intriguing. Hope the video went well. Thank you for your visit - great that your church has 3 Vitamixes! Do they make milkshakes and smoothies for everyone? 3 is a lot! I'm glad you liked the jigsaw. It was fun to do but pretty difficult!

Good that you plan your project videos so there are lots of things prepared in advance Carol. There is nothing worse than a real time unedited YouTube video without this forthought. Happy New Year, stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

I shall have to Google Tricorn card. Some videos are a bit boring when everything is done in real time. Have a great week Angela #13

I'm going to say "Ditto" to Angela's comment - I need to Google what a Tricorn card is as I've been in the dark for far too long... I'm also tempted to try a glass mat, although I've had this debate with my hubby and he reckons it won't work. Sooooo.... not sure if I want to have that expenditure? Thus, jury still out on that one.

Bless your customers for their little gift cards, you are indeed liked.

Happy WOYWW
