Leaping Lizard... Er, Frog!

Last Friday I made the 3rd card for my May class and it just makes me laugh!  You might just giggle too! I used a fun new to me stamp set from Art Impressions called Frog Se.

I didn't have a die for the lily pad but used an oval and cut out the slot!  That seems to work pretty good for me.  I also used my Bloom Tool to add veins in it which is ok.  I stamped the sentiment on the "pond" before embossing. I cut the scallops following the embossing them sprayed it with Sheer Shimmer. On my video I stated that I got this from Art Impressions but it's from Simon Says Stamp. Click on the company to see it.  I am NOT an affiliate for them.  The sun comes from Spellbinders, a cool die set called Harvestime Snapshop.  I colored the frog using Jane Davenport's Mermaid Markers (which are on sale right now!).  These are very vibrant markers but can be toned down by scribbling on an acrylic block then using a water brush to dilute a bit.  I tried to get a photo of the shimmer of the pond but it just wouldn't show up.

 I made this card on a FaceBook Live video last Friday and uploaded it to YouTube. I have to admit this video is funny as one of my watchers couldn't see all of my head and I started laughing! So, if you watch my YouTube videos remember that they started out as Lives and there is NO editing!!
