Another Wednesday and Some Brooms

Yep, it's Wednesday! Again!  Seems like it happens faster and faster!

Today is What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  I'm sharing my desk along with others as we link our desks on Julia's Stamping Ground. I have been so busy getting projects done like... getting ready for my class on Friday.... getting ready for my FB live video... and more.

This photo was taken yesterday as I was working on card kits for my Friday class. I am on my 3rd card and am making 10 of each of the 4 cards.  There are 6 gals coming and 3 that can't but want kits. So, busy busy yesterday.  Today I will be working on the directions for the November class projects. So you can see far left my card sample sitting on a paper pack and directions.  Middle is the pile of card kits and my embossing plate & mat as I embossed the top layer of the card. And right is my Platinum 6 which has gotten quite the work out!

So now I'll share some Halloween projects that I've been busy making...

I have been busy last weekend working on goodies for our grandson and 2 great grandsons.  I have made these fun treat bags before but it's been a LONG time ago and for our 2 grand daughters.  I used plain brown paper lunch bags, 3 per "broom"!  I filled 1 bag and added 2 that I cut in fringed covers.  A little piece of twine and a twig as the broom handle then some decorations!

I had fun making these.  I used a Fun Stampers Journey die set called Let's Be Frank. I used a variety of card stock scraps, too.  I love how these turned out!

So please head over to the Stamping Ground and check out more desks and projects!

Those brooms are adorable. Saving this for possible future use. Thanks for the tutorial from #21.

Love ‘em Carol, what a great set of dies, but better - what great choices of papers etc you’ve used them with, you’re sooooocreative. How fun to have goody bags to make again. I cant agree more about how this week has come around faster than usual, this month feels as if its missing a 10 day middle! Lovely card for your Friday workshop, those leaves look absolutely fab cut out of plaid in this colours..or are they pieced?! Love that you’re pre embossing the backgrounds too, I must say my attendees like to not have to do any of the legwork!
