An Arizona Christmas

Last Friday I showed the making of this card on my FaceBook Live video (and it is available on my YouTube channel - just click the link in the sidebar). This card came together quickly once I started setting out different products!  I love when that happens!


 Isn't this cool!!!  It's pretty much what Christmas looks like here in southern Arizona.  Much is still green! Once in a great while we get snow but it melts as it touches the ground.

The green saguaro cacti is part of the Potted Cacti die set (s3-339). The background cacti scene is from a die by Frantic Stamper Inc. called Cactus Edger (FRA-DIE-10458), and the great sentiment comes from an adorable set by Scraps of Love called Desert Gnomes. I do not have links available for Frantic Stamper or Scraps of Love.


 How do you like the details in that background scene?  We have prickly pear and barrel cacti in our yard but not saguaros as we're a bit too high in elevation.

All I have left for my November class is to make up the direction sheets for each project.  That will happen soon!
