I Love Pie

I finally completed the 4th project I will be teaching at my class on October 25.  We'll be making 3 Thanksgiving cards and 1 Halloween card.  On today's card I used a couple new products by Fun Stampers Journey, Happy Feast stamp set and Golden Tansy Twine. Personally I'm not big on pie but what would Thanksgiving dinner be without Pumpkin Pie??

I tried to color the pie to look like pumpkin.  I used my Color Burst pencils and layered to get the colors I wanted.  I'm not sure if the top looks like it's been lightly burnt but I was aiming for that look.

Maybe I should have made some darker splotches...   I brushed some Sparkle Silk on the white colored Whip Cream dollop.

I added some die cut leaves and used an old embossing folder that retired a while back that worked great for this card,  Fall Text. Some splatters of Citrus Cooler and Dark Roast Silk on that embossed piece looks pretty good.

Should I add any embellishments like Fashion Gold dots?

I have just update my FSJ, Spellbinders, & More page with this month's clubs!  Great dies, stamps, and more!
