Awesome Gnome!

I finally played with Spellbinders Sept. Large Die of the Month this past weekend. What a hoot!  It is called Game of Gnomes but I think it sold out.  You can check the Shop Past Club Kits under Clubs on the website after Oct. 15th to see if they have any left over to sell.   It seems I end up with a bunch of priorities so don't get time to play.


The dark blue base is some paper from my stock and it has little dark red flecks in it. I used a lot of little scraps from my scrap basket.  As I was making this I was trying to figure out some of the dies in the package so yesterday I watched Spellbinders video for this die set and had the ah ha! moment!

The sentiment is from the Letterboard Minis stamp set.  I find myself going to it frequently.


Isn't this little guy just adorable??  Watching the video I learned more on different ways to make him.


I should have added some sponged color to the mushrooms but when I made them I didn't have my inks or sponges.  Maybe next time!
Now I need to make 25 Christmas tags for a swap. Hmmmm.
