What a Wednesday!

Well, this Wednesday came a bit slower for the What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday as I missed last week!  I actually spent about 6 hours last Tuesday, 8 hours Wednesday, and 2 hours Friday working on tax stuff.  Yesterday I got the paper pack sent off in the mail to our son (who does our taxes) and will email the spreadsheets probably tomorrow.  So, my time was sitting at this PC and going through every scrap of paper, etc. getting it done.  Yesterday I worked on my stamp business stuff so that I will be ready to send in the sales tax I collected this first quarter when the time is right.

So, in linking with our head desker, Julia at the Stamping Ground, I have today's post ready to go. My desk view is from yesterday late afternoon while working on my sales tax stuff.

So nothing exciting. But I do have a couple cards I recently shared somewhere on this desk...  I finished with all this about an hour after this picture then we got ready to go to an old fashioned tent church revival meeting at my dad's church.  They served a dinner and then the music and preaching.

But last Saturday I went to Mesa, AZ  for the Rubber Stamp Events convention.  I pretty much behaved myself (stayed within my budget) and took 2 friends (1 of whom has never been to one of these!). I think they both outspent me!

The Wobbles and Rubbernecker flower die are for classes. Can we say "TAX DEDUCTIBLE!"  Yay! One of the gals who rode up with me got me the fun little gnomes stamps and the flip flop die. I'm looking forward to playing with all the rest.  I have been told that Jennifer McGuire has a  YouTube video using the little yellow slider spaces but I have not been able to find it. If you know please send me info in the comments.

Anyway, that's been my last 2 weeks.  I'm in the process of finishing my samples for my April 5 Easter project class.  I have 2 done, 1 on my desk, and the other in my head. Hope the one in my head stays there until I can get to it!

Now, please head over to the Stamping Ground and check out all the links to other desks.  Since I don't have much happening today other than working on class projects I'll be checking out the desks.  Maybe we'll pass along the way!

Hi Carol. Well done on the tax front! What a ghastly prospect - but you've done 'em!! Very proud of you staying within your craft budget at the event - I never do. Have fun trying everything out.
Take care. God bless.
