Wednesday Again! Desker Day!

I have to admit, this week is going fast!!  We got some great news last week... our kids from Wyoming will be here in 2 weeks!!  You can bet your boots I won't be sharing a picture of my desk as I'll be playing with our almost 4 year old grandson!!!  I'll be busting my buns until then getting projects done to share while I'm out playing.  Also, after 3 months of Government computer glitches I finally got on Medicare.  I ended up calling a state senator midway through the 3rd month and she got someone higher up than our local office supervisors to fix the issue.  Once she was involved it took about 2 weeks.

Anyway, today is Hump Day or, in our group, Desker Day!  It's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday 510!!  This is all put together by our Head Desker Leader.... Julia at the Stamping Ground!  My desk is in a partial cleanup from playing last weekend.  Yep, nothing done so far this week.

If you look real close to center you'll see a basket of flowers.  Last week I got in a cool Woven Basket die set from Karen Burniston and this is my first one.  Yesterday I posted the basket in it's entirety. Also there's my carton of Press N Seal (used to hold intricate die cuts such as bunnies with lots of pieces). Hmmm, a die set of the bunnies that I borrowed are on my glass mat.  A package of paper next to my Platinum machine. My ATG gun has fallen over, must be something under it. And who knows what.  Today it will all get cleaned up so I can prep for my FB live video at 10:30 AZ time (right now we are the same as Pacific Daylight Time).

So, I need to get busy.  Been doing some cleanup in the yard but it rained all day yesterday so hubby and I went to Tucson to get parts for some stuff he's working on.  Don't be too shocked, I drove right by Hobby Lobby and didn't stop.  We did go to Costco and get our favorite flavored bottled water and some meat for the freezer.

Please head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the links to other desks.  There's usually some great projects shown or some wonderful scenery.

I can almost 'taste' the exitement that your kids are coming to visit you... well, I am right there with you 'cause my own son will come visit us on Friday and I haven't seen him in ages! I love seeing all the ink-pads on your desk, neatly sorted... I'm not a stamper and owe but little inkpads but I always love seeing stampers-and-their-pads (and how they store it) Happy woyww and a big hug from stormy Holland. Marit #19

Hi Carol. It certainly sounds like you will be really busy before your family arrives. Mine don't live quite as far away as yours, but it's still exciting to get everything prepared, catch up and get ahead with things so I can enjoy them when here. Have a wonderful time. Very proud of you going straight past a craft outlet - but don't Costco sometimes have craft stuff in?? They certainly do over here.
Take care. God bless.

Have a wonderful time with your kids and grands!

I'm in New Mexico and we are getting rain, sleet and snow today. Also lots of wind. Hate this time of year.

How exciting Carol you will be in your element when they arrive, I just love spending time with my family. Have fun completing those creations before they arrive. I'm not sure I could drive past a craft shop without at least taking a peep.

Great news all around Carol - it's good that the Medicare issue has been resolved but infuriating that you had to contact that person to help. And how lovely that your family will be staying, have FUN!!
