Some Hearts Understand

I was hoping to post the card I was going to make on my FB Live video yesterday but FB was down all day for me.  So, I spent time on Pinterest looking about and getting ideas to make some cards using FSJ's March Stamp of the Month, Good Places, and it's coordinating die set. Our morning started out gloomy with rain, heavy clouds, and wind but eventually partially clearing mid afternoon.  I am enjoying getting the exclusive stamp set each month and have NOT been disappointed in the 5 sets I've received.   Here's a bit of info on this monthly club subscription:

Membership Includes:
  • A Monthly Red Rubber Stamp Set: The full size stamp sets are approximately 5.75 x 4.5 in size. (Will vary each month.) $25 Value!
  • Project Inspiration: Each stamp set will feature project ideas with at least one detailed how-to instruction tutorial each month.
  • Member Benefits & Savings: Receive exclusive member pricing in the Spellbinders FSJ store. Plus receive access to deals, savings, and gifts - only available to members.
So here is my card....

I wanted the tulips to really stand out and I think I accomplished that.  I did use quite an assortment of FSJ products and they're listed below.   I colored the background print paper using 2 Liquid Colors kinda like Kim Kesti did in this VIDEO.

If you look closely you can see a little strip of triangles under the sparkle washi tape.  It is a piece of the background I cut off then die cut using a Border Essential die. I even added a bit of Sparkle Silk to the tulips but it doesn't show up in my photo.  I also added some color to the tulips using Color Burst Pencils.  The tulips don't have a die as the flower is stamped separately from the leaves/stem. I like that option.

I hope you didn't have your FB go down on you yesterday.  If it did, what did you do?
