It's a Quadruple Play!

Last month while at our local Tucson stampers group I was asked to ask a friend to share the technique she used in last month's favorite technique swap. I just can't see Diane doing that and said I could do it. So I started playing. She made a triple play card (not sure if that is the correct name) but I made a quadruple play!

I have to say this is my first ever attempt doing this. I took a piece of retired Echo Park card stock from their "Fall Breeze" paper pack and, using washi tape, stuck 3 graduating sizes of rectangle dies to it then cut. I added brown layers to each die cut and, making sure the print aligned correctly, popped them down. I was almost surprised it worked so well! Pretty cool!

Typically I make this style card by cutting the layers with my paper trimmer.  I will probably make a video of this way soon. I used the coordinating ephemera card stock die cut pack for the sentiment.

Since all I used is not available I've added links below of some rectangle die set similar that you can use.

What do you think? Have you made one of these?
