Birthday Balloons

At our June stamp club meeting we received a paper straw to use on a card as our mystery item. Last week I finally figured out my card using a couple great Spellbinders die sets.

I opened the straw, ran it through a corrugater then glued it on my card front. I made balloons using Spellbinders' "Color Block Balloons" and their new Glitter Foam Sheets.  The box is from their "Surprise Box" die set and the sentiment is from their "Birthday Unboxing Sentiments".

The box is very dimensional and sticks up about 1/2". I really layered some foam under the center to keep it from crushing. It really won't work being mailed but can easily be shipped with a package if cushioned.

Aren't these balloons cool! I love the glitter foam and it die cuts so nicely! Just don't expect it to hold details if there are some in the dies.

I used the remnant of the straw and glued it across a corner of the envelope as we have to have a coordinating envelope as part of the swap.

 Stampin Carol

Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.  Psalm 139:23-24
