Ice Skates and Christmas

 As you know July 14 Spellbinders released a number of new collections for Christmas and I got their wonderful "Ice Skate" die from the new Winter Garden collection. This brought back memories!

This die is rather large so I made a 5" x 7" so I could put 2 skates on my card. When I was much younger I used to skate. I didn't get fancy but I enjoyed it very much! 


I black embossed a sentiment from Spellbinders' "Mini Christmas Greetings" stamp set and added a couple Red Color Essential Gems on the sentiment banner. I laced the skates with some white thread and paper pieced my skates. A bit of white paint was splattered on the red rectangle.
