Over The Rainbow Bridge

Recently I got in a pet sympathy stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called Furever In Our Hearts. I've had to make a couple sympathy cards a month ago and wanted stamps a bit more pet friendly.

These 2 cards came together fairly fast when I found the background print paper. It's from an old paper pack from Fun Stampers Journey called Create & Bloom.

The turquoise prints & clouds card was the first one I made. I decided the turquoise paw prints doesn't show up good enough so I made the black prints cards. All prints and sentiments are embossed  and I'm so glad I had my The Rabbit Hole Designs Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool! This is the best static powder tool I've ever used!!

I see my white embossing powder didn't give a good image but then I've had a large container of it for over 20 years. I think my turquoise powder is older.  At least the black powder is giving good embossing! I added some heart shaped stickers to both cards.  The clouds are from a new die set by Spellbinders called On Cloud Nine that will be available next month.

The black prints definitely pop better and I stamped the sentiment on a cloud from the new die set.

Do you make cards for friends or family who's pets died or had to be put to sleep? It is heartbreaking especially when it's our kids.
