Beaver Love

 This isn't a take off on the Captain & Tennille's Muskrat Love song but I thought my post title was right. I LOVE this beaver from Art Impressions cute Valentine Critters stamp set.

I chose a plaid background as when I think of beavers I think of mountain ponds and streams where they live so I wanted a "lumberjack" background. (Does your mind track like this??) I colored the beaver with my Color Burst pencils (on sale now) and added some Close To My Heart clear glitter brush to his nose, eye, and tooth. The sentiment is from my stash as are the circle and heart dies.


I love the joyful look on his face. Isn't he adorable!!  Inside I used the "I'd bea-ver-y happy if you were my Valentine!" stamp.

Today I'll be mailing out all our cards to family.  I ended up with about 5 extra so I feel good that I don't have to make more (unless I was to).
