Borders And Blooms

I'm enjoying Spellbinders Classically Becca collection which was released last week. Have you seen all the new products? Oh my gosh but click on their link in my sidebar and give them a look!

I made 2 cards using 2 of the new die sets, Cinch and Go Blossoms and Romantic Slimline Borders.

These die sets are so versatile! And the borders do not have to be used just for slimline cards!

I made a regular sized slimline card and a mini slimline card. They are kinda simple as I like making cards that my customers and readers can duplicate. Both cards use Spellbinders "Love You More" die set for the sentiments.

This full-sized slimline is so pretty in person.  I added some orange stickles to the flower centers and some dots to the card.

I used 3 - 4 shades of yellow and cream papers for the flowers and rolled them around a tooth pick to shape. I cut the border wide enough to add the ribbon down the middle and embossed the white layer with Spellbinders Big Dot Slimline embossing folder. You must have a large enough die cut machine, like the big Platinum, to use the embossing folder.

This card fits in a regular home & office mailing envelope.  How do you like that border! So elegant.

I layered my flowers on and around the center of a double bow made from a thin purple ribbon. I added some Silver Mix Essential Gems to the flower centers and on the card front.

There are many more die sets in Becca's new collection. They are amazing!
