Eek! It's a Ghost!

I've had low mojo this week but did manage to make this cute ghost card for my Sept. class using stash I found in various drawers in my room! And, yeah, I know, it's Friday the 13th and this card does fit today!

I used a very old stamp set from Fun Stampers Journey called Ghostly Haunts and a fun new-to-me die set by Photo Play from Scrapbook.com.  And how do you like that cool trim! I bought it many years ago when I taught at a local scrapbook store. I also have another red trim and black trim similar to this.

I used Spellbinders Monster Eyes instead of the eye stamps in the stamp set. I also splattered the purple background with Black Silk. I adhered the trim using Spellbinders White Liner tape (aka Score Tape) as it needs a really good adhesive! Then I made sure my foam tape was also over the trim when I popped my oval.

It does seem strange to be making Halloween cards just after making Christmas cards.  We don't celebrate Halloween but I make cards for our family. They are cute or whimsical but not scary.
