A Happy Toucan

If you seen my Wednesday FB live video you seen my showing how to make a "Book Binding Pop Up Card". It is a card with an explosion or squash book type inside. I used an assortment of stamps and fun papers.

I used a fun paper pack I got at a retreat called Summer Fun by Echo Park. But the black and gold pineapples are stickers I had in my stash. The toucan and happy are stickers from the paper pack.

Here you can see the card opens to the right of the pineapple strip. And how do you like my red staples? I found them as I was looking for something!

And here is the inside. I had to adjust the size of the square I folded so that it would fit. And since I had this in a portrait layout I had to alter where my sentiments would go. And, yep, I used more pineapple stickers! In my first picture you can see them on the back of my envelope as I will be using this card for my swap at stamp club the end of the month. The "Happy Birthday" is from a clear stamp set that was the May 2021 Clear Stamp of the Month called "Borders & Sentiments". The other sentiment are from an old Altenew set called "Build a Flower: Magnolia." I've had this for quite a while.
