A Mason Jar of Flowers

When I seen Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Die set of the Month for March I fell in love! This is an amazing die set! I signed up and just got my die set last month.  This is the die set as shown on Spellbinders. To purchase please go to my Specials & More! page tab for more information. There you can view all the other monthly clubs available, too, along with gorgeous examples!

This die set makes a 3D jar of 5 layers! There's 16 dies! Are you ready for my card?

This is the front view.  I used my large Dauber to add some color to the bottoms of the jars.  I should have added pieces of Clear View Sheet to each jar opening to look like glass but I wasn't thinking that fast.  I also didn't use the little tag but may add that later.

Here are the flowers.  They also are multi layered and I used markers to color or sponged ink to add dimension. I was able to use up a bunch of scraps!

You can see the 5 layers in this view. Unfortunately I attached my flowers too high but I didn't realize that until I tried to put this into an envelope. I was off about 1/4" if I used an invitation envelope from a big box store (which are 4 3/4" x 6 1/2").

The jar folds flat sideways so it can be mailed but you really need to watch the height you adhere the flowers.

I will be making this again and it would be great to use just 1 jar to make a shaker card!
