A Bubble Wrap Birthday Card

I need a swap card for this Saturday's Salsa group (a Tucson stamp club) with a Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles theme and I decided to use my Bubble Wrap embossing folder to carry the theme.

(This post contains affiliate links.  When you shop through my links {most are at the end of my post} I may receive a small commission at NO cost to you! Thanks for your support!)

In staying with a "bubble" shape I also used Spellbinders Small Die of the Month for February 2020 called Art Studio Botanicals.

To make the bubbles "pop" a little more (pun intended) I lightly sponged  coordinating blue ink with a sponge. And the sentiment comes from one of my favorite Fun Stampers Journey sets, Penquin Waddle, and colored it with a Tombow brush pen. I wrapped a piece of blue thread around my banner and used a stapler to criss cross staples over it for fun.

I used a scrap from a FSJ paper pack called Good Vibes Prints. I like how this looked. It is hard to see but I used my Clear Wink of Stella brush on the leaves and also on the letters.

Since my "bubbles" is probably way different than what the others will do in the swap I added a post it note inside to explain.
