What's On My Workdesk Wednesday

Wednesday, Whizzday, Hump Day, Mid Week.  There's a few names for today.  But it is the day I join with a few dozen others in giving you the opportunity to take a look at my desk in whatever shape it is (was since I took this pic yesterday) all through the link up at Julia's Stamping Ground.  This get together is week 522! I'm looking forward to all the pictures of the 10th Anniversary get together last weekend!  But here's my desk.

I just finished making my first ever spinner card and it's sitting on the left top of my glass mat.  It's a Bday card for our grandson and I'll be sharing a post about it tomorrow. On the white part of my mat are a bunch of dies from a swap last Saturday.  Far left in front of my Scan N Cut is a pile of card stock and other misc. stuff.  Far right is my Platinum 6 die cut machine and a green basket of scraps. At the back are my shelves of supplies and whatever.

Here are the die cuts.  Only 2 are not shown, mine and one that makes a gift card holder.  I'm looking forward to playing with these!

I hope you'll head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the rest of the desks. Have a blessed day!

Isn’t it fascinating to see the dies that other people have and cut for you. Some I look at and wonder what on earth I’ll be able to do with and then...put, I’m in the middle of a card or a scrapbook page and it NEEDS the most unlikely of the cuts! I had a good old enlarge of the photo (of course) and I can just about see the spinner before it pixelates or my eyes ruin the focus...you’re so clever!

I am so sorry to have taken so long to visit. Unfortunately, my electricity was off this afternoon and into the night due to the storms. Now it is back on and I'm trying to play catch up.

OMGosh. Not one, but TWO die cutters. You are amazing. Those spinners are a bit fiddly, especially if you don't have a die cutter. Happy WOYWW from #3.

Sorry I am so late been having problems with the internet. It is ages since I made a spinner card but thinking about it I now have a lovely "bee" stamp which would work perfectly. You might have inspired me to make a spinner card - now where did I put those pennies?
Have a good week!
