Live in the Sunshine

It's less then 3 weeks to Fun Stampers Journey's Hello Summer Collection Launch!  I still have a few cards to share with you of the card kits that came in the Starry Night and Splash Zone Project Kits.  This card I actually changed quite a bit from the directions.


Originally this card was to be landscape but I decided to make it profile.  The mermaid's tail actually fit better.  I also stenciled on the wave for more texture.


I colored the whole Whip Cream panel with 2 inks, Catalina Splash and Turbo Teal with a sponge then added more Turbo Teal through the Splash Zone stencil.  Then I cut it into the wave shape before adhering it to the stamped panel.  How do you like the tail?  I colored my Splash Sheet using a technique I shared on my May 29th video only I used FSJ Silks instead of Liquid Colors.  So very vibrant! I decided to adhere the tail directly to the wave as trying to use foam squares to pop it up would have been very challenging!


I have a bit the the sheet left over so I will come up with something to cut from it.

So many new products in this... the stamp, stencil, dies, and sequins!

I bet a little girl would love this as her birthday card!
