Lookin' Shark

Tomorrow is our monthly stampers group meeting in Tucson, AZ and I needed a card with an Under the Sea theme. I had a couple great Whimsy Stamps sets that would work perfectly!

I used 2 stamp sets, "Lookin' Shark" and "Lookin' Shark Elements".  I also used the 2 coordinating die sets, "Lookin' Shark Outlines" and "Lookin' Shark Elements Outlines". I die cut the opening in the wood plank to show through to the inside of the card. I had to cut through 3 layers of card stock so out came my craft knife and details scissors. 


I think it turned out great, don't you? I added some Clear Pops of Color to the shark's eyes which made them pop (no pun intended, or maybe it is). Images were colored with PrismaColor Pencils.  I also decorated an envelope to go with this card.

I usually make shark cards for our great grandsons so to not send this to them is kind of a shock. But I'll be making them some for their birthdays in June.
