Life's Greatest Treasures

I'm finally starting on my card samples for my April 22 class and this card was inspired by one I seen on Pinterest.  Since it's already getting hot here in southern AZ I wanted to use Colorado Craft's Ice Cream Day stamp set. There is a coordinating die set but I didn't use it.

I tried to color my cats calico and orange tiger stripe. I used colored pencils to color and added some PanPastels around them to make them pop a bit. I used a great Spellbinders die set called Romantic Slimline Borders to add the holes across the top of the stamped piece. The beautiful plaid paper is from The Paper Collage near Phoenix, AZ.

This is a simple card but I love the sentiment! No embellishments needed!

Tomorrow we start removing the carpet in the living room & hall and laying new flooring in the living room, hall, dining room, and kitchen.  My house is quite a mess! Hopefully we'll be done by the weekend.
