It's A SALSA Birthday!

Last Saturday the Tucson stampers club, SALSA (Stampers At Large, Stamping Away), celebrated it's birthday. As near as one of the members could remember, this group is about 40 years old! What an accomplishment! And we celebrated with 5 make n takes and cupcakes! Today I'll share 3 of the cards.

I have no idea about any of the products used in any of these cards today.

The cactus card was a kit full of bits and pieces and we did what we wanted with them.

I really like this barb wire die cut. And the 3 hearts are from my stash.

This fun design was made with a die. I added the purple dots from my stash.

I was informed this card was made using an old Sizzix die set. The orange dots are from my stash.

Here's the card open. The sentiment was stamped using Spellbinders new Let's Celebrate Sentiments. It was one long stamp but, with a very careful cut, it became two. I have no trouble cutting sentiments if I can get a clean cut without damaging the image. I also lightly sponged the edges and splattered the sentiment piece with Bubble Gum Silk.

Tomorrow I'll share my favorite cards from the party. Stay tuned!
