Driving By to Say Happy Father's Day!

This is my last Father's Day card for this year.  I made this for my hubby. I used a fun stamp and die set from Maker's Movement called Home for the Holidays.  I think Father's Day qualifies as a holiday, don't you?

I purchased this combo at last February's scrapbook retreat that I attended. I've played just a little with it but have not completed any cards until now.

I don't know where you can get this stamp & die set as I purchased it from a gal at the retreat.  I stamped the truck on pieces of blue, brown, black, and brushed silver card stocks. I used the truck die to cut it out but cut out the other pieces with my scissors and craft knife. The sky was stamped using Impressions Obsession's Lg Cloudy Sky stamp then I cut it to fit my card base.  The birds I did by had with a ball point pen.

After cutting out the window I added a piece of clear acetate to look more like glass. I cut a hill and road to complete the background.

I added the gifts from the stamp set to the back of the pickup. You can see where the truck die cut but that was fine with me. I didn't feel like cutting any more with my craft knife and I kinda like the look.

I think hubby will like this card. Are you done with all your Father's Day cards?
