All is Calm

When I seen this cool die on Scrapbook.com I just HAD to have it. I'm a displaced Wyoming gal and I remember scenes like this in the mountains as we rode horseback (for pleasure) or hunted big game (great food).

I used a variety of papers from Fun Stampers Journey and Craft Consortium (purchased from Blue Moon Scrapbooking).

Isn't this gorgeous!! And I love the sentiment I added. It's from the Arctic Wonder clear stamp set by Fun Stampers Journey. The snowflake paper from Craft Consortium is perfect!! I am glad I have a stamp positioner as it took 2 inkings to get the sentiment just right.

I had to find a 2nd white as the shadings were just too close. This scene took 5 colors not counting the green of the trees. I would love to have added some deer but all my dies were too big to fit the scene.

This card wasn't difficult other than finding the right colors and I'm not sure what I used was right. I think I should have switched the 2 whites I used and that would have been better.  Guess I need to make another!
