A Foiled Just For You

Yesterday on my FB page I made a video playing with Spellbinders new Quick Trimmer. This tool is great for cutting your Glimmer Foils nice and neat and to the size you need. AND... if you happen to foil your sentiment a bit crooked it can help with that, too!

So this is the card I showed on my video. I didn't show the foiling of it as the beautiful background was made a couple weeks back to show the gals at our Play Day some of the gorgeousness of foils. But I did foil the sentiment crooked and showed how the Trimmer is great for fixing that!

The sentiment is from the February 2019 Glimmer Kit of the Month so it's not available but you can get the Everyday Sentiments II Glimmer set. I also used some green Cottage Pearls which are not available.

I know the right slant on my sentiment looks off but it's just the angle of the photo. But what is funny is that with this close up I can see some places where the foil is a bit off! I really couldn't see those spots on the card. Oh well, hopefully the lady that gets this won't notice.

This is the Quick Trimmer. It comes with a self-healing mat, a clear trimmer plate, 1 paper blade, a foil blade, 2 blade covers, and a sheet of instructions.
