It's a Desk!

Well, I'm back at my desk after a super busy week last week and even got my picture taken of it late afternoon for tomorrow's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! This week is a little better but still something going on every day!  Today's post is linked to Julia's Stamping Ground blog along with many others.  (And yes, I know when I posted this it was still Tuesday but Julia already posted and I could link up.)

My desk is almost ready for tomorrow's video.  I missed making my video that last week. The red card in the top center of my glass mat is what I'll be showing how to make.  I received it in a fancy fold swap a week ago and almost dismantled it to figure it out. My card is on the top right of the mat.  The floral stamp in the center is one I pulled to get rid of. It's waiting for a plastic sleeve and price tag before I put it in a huge bag of stuff to sell at my class on Friday.

Yesterday I learned of one of the wonderful gals in this group having passed from cancer early last week.  My prayers go out to her husband Doug and their family and friends.

I hope you take time to check out the other deskers as you'll never know what might show up.

Hi Carol it sounds like you are busy again, isn't it great when we receive something from another creative that makes us inquisitive about how it came to be. I love how we learn from each other. Yes the news about Shaz passing is so sad, we all need to keep Doug and the family in our thoughts.
Best wishes this WoywW Tracey #4

I love the fold on that card! I will have to give that a try! Good luck with your video. I have all new recording and editing software, and I am using a new camera.

I am still working on trying to do a voice-over. I also deleted one section of my tutorial because I did not know that my new software allows me to detach my audio. I am sure the old one did as well but I was so lost.

Have a great class!!

I am not much of a card maker but I do love a card with an odd, interactive or complicated construction. Hard to see from the small photo but that one looks interesting. I’m with you, how is it we are all so darn BUSY? Ah well, at least we have WOYWW to take a break with!

Hi Carol. Hope your video goes well today. I enjoy watching them and learning! Something in the diary for each day... goodness - I forget what that feels like. been nowhere, done nothing for so long it is going to feel really strange when we are allowed out again!
Take care. God bless.

Oh you e got a magnetic thingy that attracts your scissors...that’s very clever! How like you to spend ages figuring out the fold on that card and then sharing it,I will watch with interest! The floral stamp...don’t you use it? a wrong size? Too big/small? I’m fascinated by what we do and don’t get rid of. Way back when I gave up the shop I got rid of loads of stamp,s I thought I would never use again, only to find myself looking for one or two of them years later!!
