Busy Workdesk and More!

Well, this is my Whizzday post... or Wednesday, but I'm a bit early, it's actually Tuesday evening for me.  Can you believe it's early November?????  Oh my gosh!  Christmas is just a few weeks away!

Anyway, today you get the opportunity to see what is happening on my desk. This is part of a fun blog tour of desks that about 30 of us crafters take part in each week.  This is week 544 and our head desker, Julia of the Stamping Ground, keeps us together!

I am in the process of making my hubby's birthday card.  I'm playing with some new to me stamps and dies from Art Impressions.  I'll share the finished card on Friday. So, from left to right... a pile of new stuff is under my metal container of colored pencils. Middle... my card, some sparkle dots,  blending stumps, and a little bowl for baby oil (for blending the colored pencils). Right... some dew drop ink pads and my Platinum 6.  Toward the back is becoming another pile of GKW (goodness knows what) that really needs to be sorted and put away.

Last week you got to see the Santa tags I was working on.  If you want to see the completed tags click HERE

And here are the goodies I got in return!

I received 21 tags & goodies as there was 22 signed up for this! As you can see we had a variety of styles!  This was my 2nd time to take part in the swap and I love it!

So now you've reached the end of my post.  Please head over to the Stamping Ground and check out the links to the other deskers.

Great selection of tags and I love yours as well! I am intrigu4ed by the baby oil for blending - what pencils are you using? I would love to be better at colouring but the finish I would like still eludes me. Happy WOYWW Cindy #19

I hope you got the card finished. I think we all have a GKW pile (or in my case a box!) on our desks.

Hi there Carol, some great goodies for swap, there, well done... love Memento Dew Drops and I keep them and other mini ink pads in old video cases, they fit them perfectly. Had some saved of my own, and bought some old videos .20c each and just keep cases, they’re great for unmounted stamps too.
Thanks for Sharing, God bless, hugs Shaz in Oz.x #18
