Hump Day Desk and a Ferris Wheel

Another Wednesday.  Did you enjoy last week's anniversary look at desks and projects?  I made it to about 30% of the desks and really enjoyed myself!  Now we can look forward to the 6th anniversary of this fun blog tour of international desks.  All this sponsored by head desker, Julia, at the Stamping Ground.

But now for a look at my desk.  It's relatively clean as I am packing to go to Kansas City, MO for an "Ex-Angel Reunion".  Yep, I was part of The Angel Co. for 9 years and loved the great stamps, papers, etc. that we sold.  I still have hundreds of stamps and piles of paper.

I'm currently working my my Christmas in July class samples.  You can see my directions on top my paper trimmer and the brown "tree trunk" on my Scor-Pal mat.  This will become a Christmas Tree Gift Card Holder when I get back.  And another reason my desk is kinda clean.... I'm looking for a stamp on an acrylic block that I need for my trip!!  All us attending are required to bring a shoebox project to share and my stamp is in hiding.  I do have another ready to substitute and I'm sure the intended one will show up when I get back.  Bummer.

Last week I posted a pic of my Sea Salt Caramel Rice Krispie bars.  Click HERE for the post with the recipe.  And if you make them please let me know what you think!

And finally, a picture of a Ferris Wheel that Debi of AZ Scrapbooking made this week.  It's absolutely amazing!  There's so much detail.  The wheel does turn and the little hanging carts go around and around.  Would be great for a table decoration with nuts or candy in the carts.

I stopped by the store yesterday and I was just flabbergasted looking at this!!  There is a lot of details that a picture just cannot show.  I grabbed this picture of the store's FB page as I didn't have a camera with me and my simple little phone can't take very good pictures.  (I don't have a smart phone or internet on my phone.)

Please head over to the Stamping Ground to check out all the cool desks.  I will stop and visit a couple but time is very short.  Hopefully I'll catch up next week.  And, if you leave a post, I will not be able to moderate and post it unless I get access to a computer this weekend (which is kinda doubtful).  But I'll be sure to get it posted either Sunday or Monday.

Wow - that wheel is beautiful. Thanks for visiting this week - it has been fun to be a part of the swap, and to see what lovely gifts people have in making these little cards.
