Still at the Beach

I've now got the other 2 cards complete for my proposed February class called Life's a Beach. They are relatively simple cards but I like how they turned out.

This card is pretty much the easiest of the 4.  Just the cutting of the banner is the only sorta "technical" part of this card.  I used Fiskars "Down By The Seaside" and "All Year Greetings" sets.

This card was inspired by a card on one of my Technique Junkies CDs called Designer Paper Perfection. The only thing I probably should have layered the squares on a blue piece for more pop.

I even added an itty bitty rhinestone to the seahorse eye for the pop.  This afternoon I'll be attending a store meeting with the other instructors to determine what days we'll be having our classes.  I have been told that my Valentine class on the 21st is a go with 3 students so far.  I'll be purchasing the paper to get started on the kits while there.

I did finally finish my card that I taught last Wednesday.  I started it to give the gals the basic of the design then helped them with their designs, die cuts, etc.  I will have to send a picture with my card so our granddaughter will know how it is supposed to look when open.  So stay tuned!!

Carol, your team meeting should have been quite fun, full of creative ideas being shared. The card you commented may have had more pop is mounted on blue paper is great for winter and will be grand for spring with the blue paper as you commented. Good idea for season appropriate crafting.
Pop rhinestone is always good:-).
Keep Looking UP!
