Pot Lids and Sunflowers

Now, I bet you're wondering what this post is going to be about with a title like that.  Well, I didn't get any time at my work desk the past few days but I did try something I seen on Pinterest.

This is the inside of a bottom cabinet.  I have some glass pot lids that I was worried would be broken by the cutting boards and whatnot that's in the cabinet.  Now, they're out of way and easy to grab!

These are what I used to hold the 2 lids.  They're made by Command, a 3M product, for items up to 3 lbs.   I didn't get the smaller lid's hooks even as once they touched the door they stayed and I didn't feel like following the directions to reset them to even.

And this is a 6' tall metal sunflower my folks gave me for Christmas.  I just LOVE sunflowers and had a gorgeous driveway in northwest WY with about 6 varieties lining the drive ranging from 1' to 5' in height.  This metal one is set next to a tall prickly pear cactus in my front yard.  I have another metal "plant" behind that but you can't see it in this picture.

I hope you've had a great start to the new year!  Hopefully I'll get something made either today or Sunday as Saturday we're having a date day and then going to a birthday dinner for my aunt.  I think she'll be 85 or 85.

I have been seeing lots of posts with recaps of their top cards of 2013.  Though I love looking and remembering I don't do that. I have too hard a time figuring out my favorites.  You are welcome to pin my card pictures if you're on Pinterest.

Now that is a great idea as long as you don't shut the door too hard. I am going to have to look at the inside of my cupboard doors a little differrently.
