Let there be thankfulness to God.

As I was blurfing (blog surfing) last week I came across Mel Stampz and a cool way she make some faux buttons.  You know what happened next....  I grabbed the supplies and gave it a try!  They were so fun!  Here's the card that uses those cool fakes....

The card design was a sketch challenge on a blog that I forgot to write down.  Anyway, I used Emma SWIC paper, a cuttlebug embossing folder, the Clear & Pearl Gem collection, a Pearl Ex palette, and a 5/8" circle punch.  Oh, the phrase is from the A Thousand Thanks hostess level C set.

Here you have the closeup of the faux button.  I also used Glossy Accents on the painted watercolor paper that was diluted with water to thin.

So, check out Mel's post and try these!  I have a couple more to play with yet.

OMG love love love those buttons - going to have to go check the tutorial out, and how perfect for this card. Love how you used the tags - I always have those left and don't know what to do with them.
