Give Thanks

Last week I started on some ideas for my Oct. 28 class (hopefully). This is a Thanksgiving card using Art Impressions "Feast Mode" clear stamp set. I've used it a few times and it is a keeper!

Again I stayed rather simple except for the coloring. I have one gal who hates coloring but she does have some difficulty due to having had some strokes. She does do a really good job regardless.

The plaid paper is from The Paper Collage in Peoria, AZ on the west side of Phoenix.  Sadly she doesn't have it on her website but Pam carries the most wonderful papers!

I stamped the flower borders directly on my pale yellow oval (using an OLD oval die set in my stash) using my MISTI and colored. I also sponged some dark brown ink around the oval to help it stand out from the plaid. My pencils did good and I love how they turned out. I stamped the rabbit on white, colored and cut out then popped on my oval. I added some fun orange dots for bling.

Are you working on any Thanksgiving cards yet?
