A Christmas Poinsettia

This past Saturday (Oct. 1) Spellbinders made available their October clubs and I am sharing the card I made using their Small Die of the Month, Outlined Christmas Sentiments. I had so many ideas flitting through my head it was hard to pick one.

I decided to use a classic layout and a great older die set from Spellbinders called Layered Poinsettia. I am so glad this die set is still available! I've used it so much it doesn't give me a super clean cut anymore but a stiff toothbrush helps get rid of the little bits that stick.


I love the font of these sentiments but am thankful for my Bearly Art Glue to get them adhered to their shadow layer! I picked my colors for my sentiments and flowers from the print paper from their Winter Wonderland paper pad.
 

I added some pop of color using my white gel pen and some gold Stickles.

I like how this turned out. What do you think?
