A Surfin' Squirrel

Yesterday I made an offset gatefold card on my FB video (now on my YouTube channel). I used a fun clear stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs called "Clarence Surfing", it's coordinating die set, a sentiment from their "Beach Background" clear stamp set, and a sentiment from Spellbinders' "Birthday Unboxing Sentiments" clear stamp set.

But wait, offset gatefold you ask. Yep! Instead of scoring my 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of card stock I scored at 1 1/2" and 5 3/4".

We were showed this at our monthly stamp club get together June 25 and I thought, why didn't I think of this? How cool! I also made a coordinating envelope as this will be my swap card for the July meeting. The little blue 1/2 pearls are from a little free pack that came with my TRHD order.

I used 1/2 of a clear velcro circle to hold my card closed instead of making a belly band. I so much prefer this over the band. It's really hard to see the one on the far right panel but it's there!

Here's the card fully open. All images were colored with my PrismaColor pencils. This is an A2 card.

You can check out my YouTube channel (link in the sidebar) but this is such an easy card! Let me know if you try it!

Stampin Carol

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.  Joshua 24:15 NIV
