Faith, Hope, & Peace

I was honored to be asked by Spellbinders to make more projects for them. This time I used their new Rejoice Nativity die set and All The Stars stencil. These are part of their new collection, Christmas Traditions.

I used Mirror Silver and Mirror Gold card stocks which are very hard to photo. And this was the very first time I played with my Distress Oxide inks. After coloring my background I laid my stencil over it and spritzed with a fine mist. I love the result! I used Faded Jeans, Wilted Violet, and Worn Lipstick.

You can barely see it but I added an itty bitty Silver Essential Gem to the center of the star and I layered another star over the silver (yes, it's silver) base star of mirror gold.  And you can see the stars from the stencil!

I die cut a mirror gold piece to be the "ground" for my nativity. I also used my Glimmer Hot Foil system and a plate from the Holiday Sentiments Series 2 directly on my colored background. Very cool look! I mostly used my Bearly Art Glue to adhere the die cuts.

Today is the release for this new collection and you can now purchase these great products!
