My First Star Easel Card

Last month at our local stamp group in Tucson we were shown how to make a Star Easel card.  This is my first attempt and I really should have paid more attention to the papers I used. This is a great example of what NOT to do! 😀

I grabbed a bunch of different papers from my stash and my new Bunny Trio Die Set from Fun Stampers Journey and I was off! It wasn't until I started my assembly that I realized how it looked.

Do you see my problem???  I used too many prints! I wanted a very bright cheery card and overdid it.  Have you done this??

Well, I wasn't going to toss it and it still looks kinda cute.  I did decorate my envelope by using a sponge and ink and the negative of the bunny.

This is looking down from the top.  The front comes off easily.  The card base has slits for the front to attach.  I will have to try this again only I need to be more attentive to my papers!

Added 3/13 - I have altered this card so come back tomorrow and see the difference!
