I Like Big Cups

Just out of curiosity, what was your first thought when you seen my title?

I learned a new fancy fold while at our last SALSA meeting (local stamp group in Tucson).  It's called the Double Tower Card.  A member (and she's an SU! demonstrator) shared this fun card and we were challenged to make one for our Jan. 18 meeting.  I love this! And this is my first card made this year!!

Isn't this cool!!! Way easier than the old lattice cards that were so popular years ago.

It took a little time to cut the slits but it wasn't hard at all.  This design is on Pinterest, just do a search for Tower card and a few ideas and a template will come up.

I love how this will stand up and it fits a standard A2 envelope!

I used an old Fun Stampers Journey rubber stamp set called Hey Sugar for the image.  A bit of color using my Color Burst pencils to match the cup to the  ones on the print paper (a free piece I got at the last SALSA meeting).  And I gave a bit of splatter using Dark Roast Silk for fun.

Have you tried a card like this?
