At the retreat this past weekend Cindy Moss taught some classes. She's a rep for many companies, among them Tsunineko. We played with tags using Ink Potion #9 (which I have), inks, embossing powders, and a lot of new product which was shown at C.H.A. last month in Anaheim, CA. I made 5 tags and LOVE 4 of them. Here they are:
I'm not too thrilled about the bottom one but will show you some close ups now....
Isn't this just yummy?? Most all products on this are new! I can't tell you any names but what great textures! We used embossing powders, glitter, and more.
These "flakes" are just fabulous!! I think I need to get them...
This tag used the Ink Potion and various inks. It REALLY shimmers! I could not get that to show in my photo. And the stamp is pretty cool but I have NO idea who made any of the stamps we used.
After making the background I stamped a cool text stamp then embossed the bottom image with a new Antique Mahogany embossing powder.
I did manage to get some of the gold shimmer in this tag. Again I stamped after making the background then stamped the top and bottom images. No embossing on this tag.
I do not care for this tag. After making the background we embossed the dogwood then, using a VersaMark pen we added the lilac e.p. to the blossoms. It covered too much so there is no detail. The pen we used had a frayed tip and so there was no real control.
I still have more to post but need to get some other projects done (along with our taxes)... Stay tuned!

The tags are great, I really liked the dogwood! I live in Missouri though and am partial to dogwoods.
