It's a Busy Workdesk!

Well, it's Wednesday again! I'm playing with some new dies I bought by Lawn Fawn call Tiny Gift Box and some Add-ons. Oh my gosh but this is fun! (You can see the bundle I got at the Stamp and Scrapbook Expo in Mesa, AZ last Friday and Saturday on yesterday's post.)  And I'm joining up with Julia of the Stamping Ground for week 694.

I prepped 2 of the die sets by adhering a piece of magnetic sheet to the card stock sheet from the company in its plastic sheath. Then I started die cutting the Tiny Gift Box and the Bat Add-Ons. This is a hoot! Hopefully I'll get a couple done and share tomorrow or Friday.

My desk is self explanatory. You do see a pair of needle nose pliers upper right on the glass mat as I needed it to help disconnect the dies from each other and to remove the left over little pokies that connected the dies.

So really, not so interesting but I'm glad to get things done on the days I feel good. Now if I could just convince myself to sweep the floors and shake the rugs.....

Don’t even think of shaking out rugs, they can most certainly wait! I hope the treatment isn’t making everything too hard for you, pleased to see you having some fun at your desk! And by the way, you are so patient and diligent to use pinchers to separate the dies…..you understand what that says about me, huh!!

Your journey page sounds quite positive. I am so glad you are feeling well enough to craft. I had my Endoscopy yesterday. The first two I coped, but the third one was awful so I was quite anxious about this one. For the first time I prayed in the waiting room for courage and strength. It went really well and seemed quick too. Obviously I offered grateful thanks afterwards. I won’t get the results of the biopsy for 6 weeks! My daughter is going in for an X-ray as she has a lump under her arm on 3rd October.

I read the other day that we get closer to God through praise in hymns or Psalms, even if we are not actually singing them out loud.

I’m glad that the treatment seems to be going ok and hurray to the doc who said you should eat normally, you need a bit of strength in your system to help you cope. It’s good to see that you’ve felt well enough to do some crafting, long may that continue. Onwards and upwards!

I get you, fully, with the "doing when I can" bit. When you feel good, you look at the list and think "What can I tackle today?" but it's always a risk you will se tyourself back - or it is with me anyway. I need better magnetic sheets than I have - they are so weak. And another bunder, cause that helps me stay organized. Wish I had cone the "makers packaging" when I began, but live and learn.
Happy WOYWW, catching up!
